Siine presents at AppCircus San Francisco tonight

Siine CEO Ed Maklouf will present Siine Writer at the AppCircus San Francisco tonight (November 30).

The event is part of AppNation, which is taking place at the San Francisco Design Center.

Maklouf will present Siine Writer Pioneer Edition – the first icon-based keyboard the user can edit and personalise. Siine Writer, currently in Beta, is available for free for Android devices from Samsung Apps and the Android Market.

Siine is one of six companies selected to present tonight, alongside TypeSmart, Life 360, Tagwgat, Tingle and Hadza.

Siine Writer Pioneer Edition was runner up at the AppCircus at TechHub in London earlier this month.
Telefonica head of BlueVia marketing James Parton, one of the judges at AppCircus London, said he was impressed by Siine Writer’s use of icons to enter long strings of text.

“This I've not seen before, and can be fully customised by the user by adding their own buttons, and even uploading their own images to label those buttons,” he wrote on his blog.

“I think there is a huge accessibility opportunity for technology like this, and also really interested mobile health application.”

AppNation is the first conference to focus entirely on the business of apps and their impact on technology.
