Saying hello is important

The simple greeting – just saying hello - is the glue that holds society together.

It has always stood for co-operation and peace, as it creates a bond: before you say hello, you are strangers. Afterwards, you are friends, family, colleagues and more.

We can identify our friends by the way they say hello. It’s like a code. Sometimes it can be an elaborate performance. Sometimes it is just one carefully chosen word.

You probably don’t even think about all the different ways you say hello – it’s a very natural thing. But you wouldn’t dream of saying hello to your grandmother in the same way you say hello to your best friend.

And this is why not saying hello can be so serious: it undermines your friendship and all your friendship stands for. It sounds cold - like you just don’t care.

You wouldn’t do it in real life. So why do it in a text?

This is where Siine Writer comes in. You can use Siine Writer to say hello in a text exactly the same way you do in real life, from “waddup bro?” to “good evening, auntie, I do hope you’re well”.

It’s your choice – you can adapt Siine Writer so it says exactly what you want with a few taps on the screen. So no more “hi / hey / hllo” or leaving out the greeting altogether – unless that’s what you want to do.
